Summer 2027 Youth / Young Adult Trip Details
Our mission trip focused on our youth and young adults will take us to the country of Colombia and we will construct two churches near Bogota. We are planning to conduct two separate trips - assuming we have enough volunteers.
Our first week, from June 28-July 7, we will focus on our youth through high school team members. We will construct a church, conduct a VBS program, and lead out in a medical or dental mission, provided we have a doctor or dentist on the team. We will then take an excursion in the area.
Our second week, from July 7-16, will focus on our Young Adults who have completed high school. We will construct a separate church and may have other ministries if we have enough volunteers and leaders. That group will also take an excursion in the area.
Cost Estimate - ~$2000-2200 for adults, ~$1200-1400 for youth, collegiate and below and teachers.
Our current estimate is that the entire trip (including the excursion) will run around $2,000-2,200. If you are a teacher or still in school through college undergraduate level, we will continue to fundraise for sponsorships to offset that cost. The current plan is to offer sponsorships of up to $800, which (if funds are available), the cost for Students and Teachers would be approximately $1,200-1400.
Please prayerfully consider if God is calling you to be part of these trips. If you have any questions, please do let me know. We would like to understand our numbers by end of November so please let us know ASAP!
