2025 SE Texas Team trip summary

From April 25-May 5, 13 volunteers traveled to the Dominican Republic to construct a church for the Luz y Paz congregation in La Guazama, DR.

The construction team built a 21'x56' church right off the road making the church very visible! The church members were in a very small rented house that wasn't conducive to worship nor evangelism. We were blessed with a wonderful Maranatha team that were very patient with us and great collaborators - especially important given the small (but mighty) team of volunteers.  We completed the entire church and the team was able to complete the roof on time for the dedication on Sabbath morning. We were blessed with mostly good weather. The Maranatha team completed the windows in doors in time for the church's evangelism meetings the next week!
