2024 Mission IS Possible trip summary

From March 1-12, 2024, 32 volunteers traveled to the Dominican Republic to part one of many groups to help to build a large school complex at the Ciudad del Cielo school and conduct a free dental clinic for the area.

We were working on a 120 foot long / 90 foot wide classroom structure using cinder blocks. The structure will have eight classrooms, offices and bathrooms.  We were blessed with a wonderful Maranatha team that were very patient with us and great collaborators.  We completed the entire right hand side and most of the back wall. We were blessed with good weather - while it was hot, humidity was low and we had cloud cover for a good part of the trip. God blessed our team with good health as well.

Our Dental team had assistance from local dentists and were able to treat many in the local community during the week.  The dentists were able to complete their work and were such a blessing to the area.

After the work was done and we worshipped with the Maranatha team, our group was able to see some of the wonderful sights in the DR. We traveled to Punta Cana and the team were able to relax for a couple of days from their labor.
