2007 Tambillo, Ecuador Mission Trip

Our 2007 mission trip took us to Tambillo, Ecuador to build a church, conduct a dental and medical clinic, lead out in Vacation Bible School and conduct an evangelistic series. We had 45 volunteers on this trip

The church was built on a hill and you can see it from all around. We were building the church at 9300 feet in elevation, so it was tough on everyone. In addition, most everyone got sick from eating a local cheese, so we had people ill all week. Some of our construction team were receiving IV fluids on the way to the jobsite and at lunch. In spite of that, and due to a number of miracles on the last day, we were able to complete the church on Friday. Electricity came back on, saw blades that weren't working began working again and rain stopped. We were able to finish and celebrate with the church members.

We had a medical and dental team that brought much needed services to the town. They provided many services, including surgeries.

The VBS and Evangelism program were presented every night and was a blessing to the community.

For our excursion, the team was able to visit Otovalo, Quito and Guayaquil before heading home.
