2019 Panama FOUNDations Summer Youth Mission Trip
Our summer 2019 Youth Mission trip led us to Brisas del Rio Panama to construct a church, lead a dental clinic and conduct children's ministries for over 450 children. We had 57 volunteers on this mission trip.
Our group of mostly young people construction volunteers were able to complete the church in six days - in very hot and humid conditions. We were able to worship in the completed structure on Sabbath in a very special worship.
Our dental team was able to conduct their clinic in the rented church right next to the church we were building. They served over 100 patients during the week and are always an instrumental part of bringing the local community to know more about God and to the new church.
Our VBS team had a special challenge this year: how to minister to over 450 children in a two hour span. With a lot of help and inspiration from God, they were able to work out the rotations and have a very successful children's ministries at the local church school.
For our excursion, we traveled to Boquete for a bit of cooler weather, ziplines, canopy walks and some downtime.
