Our 2004 mission trip took us to San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic to build a church, lead out in children's ministries and conduct a dental/medical clinic. We had 16 volunteers on this trip from our church and conducted the trip with my parent's church from Ohio.
We constructed a church at a school site. This was our second year working together with my parent's church and formed a great team. We almost completed the church and were able to dedicate it the final Sabbath.
We had a medical team that brought much needed services to the town. They provided many services, including surgeries and served hundreds of patients. Our VBS team were able to minister to many of the local children. Pastor Frank also led out in an evangelism series every night.
For our excursion, the team was able to visit a resort in Punta Cana for some relaxation after the trip.
Sadly, we don't have many pictures to show from these early trips.
